Who We Are
Communion
Music
The Scriptures invite us to remember and proclaim the Lord’s death until he returns. We choose to partake of the Lord’s Supper weekly because it reminds us of the gospel and the grace that God has given us.
Preaching
Our preaching is Bible-centered. We desire to faithfully communicate and proclaim God’s word every Sunday morning. Our intent is not to entertain but to equip. We desire to see people growing in their understanding of what it means to love God and love people. At the Ridge, you will find biblically deep sermons that challenge and encourage you.
We believe that God’s people are called to praise his name. Music gives us the opportunity to sing praises to God. The Bible says, “Praise the LORD! Praise him for his mighty deeds; Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!” Psalm 150
Baptism
We believe that baptism identifies us with Christ. Jesus calls all of those who believe in him to be baptized. Baptism is often neglected but it is an important step of obedience when we come to faith in Jesus.
Elders
We are a plural-elder church. The Bible teaches that elders are responsible for the spiritual shepherding and leadership in the local church. Our elders adhere to the biblical qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, and 1 Peter 5:1-11.
